Sql Developer

Corecom have partnered with an up and coming financial services organisation based in Sheffield who are seeking their next SQL Developer.

Due to the business using external data sources but with an on-prem SQL Server, theyre looking for someone who can hit the ground running ensuring required data is within reach of multiple departments. It will be your job to come in and build robust ETL packages to feed into their on-prem Database, with a view to eventually implementing a Data Warehouse.

You'll work closely with the Credit Risk function, supporting their data sources so that they can complete complex models and forecasts. Meaning you will be at the forefront of both the Data and Credit Risk Strategies and eventually build out your data team.

It's a fast growing business, focused in consumer finance and winning multiple new contracts on a regular basis. Meaning they are in a very strong position to continue their growth, also aiding in the delivery of the UK's Carbon Neutral policies.

What you'll need:

• Strong SQL experience, ideally within SQL Server and T-SQL but other SQL Languages would also translate.
• Experience of complex data queries and ETL packages
• The ability to guide the business in its data use and storage, with database and data warehouse development experience hugely beneficial.
