We’re looking for a Cardiac Staff Nurse to join our Cardiology team at the prestigious London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
Regarded as a cardiac centre of excellence our cardiology department offers a variety of Non-Invasive Cardiology procedures such as: Electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, Stress Echos, Bubble Studies, Exercise tests, and various cardiac monitors.
As a Cardiac Staff Nurse in our cardiac department you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team and assist with all nurse led tests performed in the department. These include; Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms, Bubble Studies, Adenosine Myoview Scans and Ajmaline Challenge Tests. Training will be provided in any area required.
In addition to the nursing responsibilities; training will be provided to become a Clinical Physiologist. Duties in this area will include performing Electrocardiograms (ECG’s), analysing ambulatory ECG and BP monitors, running exercise tolerance tests (ETT) and tilt table tests.
This role will provide a great deal of variety on a day to day basis and will be ideal for a nurse who has a passion for Cardiology.

What you’ll bring:
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Up to date ILS
- Ability to recognise cardiac rhythms useful but not essential
- Phlebotomy is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with good time management skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
