We are currently recruiting for an admin officer based in Newry. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, ANI clearance has been completed.
Start date: ASAP – ASAP
Duration: 3-6 months
Rate of pay: £17.09
Hours of work: Full time 9 – 5pm – Mon to Fri 37 hours a week
Key Responsibilities:
To assist with the development and delivery of communication plans (staff & stakeholder), consulting with, and providing updates to Rural Affairs Division ()RAD) Management. To support branches with the development and delivery of specific scheme/programme communication plans, liaising with relevant branches across the Department to ascertain best practice, and utilising alternative communication methods. The postholder will provide secretariat arrangements for staff and stakeholder forums & support RAD Management in the delivery of the RAD Staff Engagement Plan.
Main Duties
Contributing to the development and implementation of a communications strategy within RAD.
Writing engaging content for a range of internal and external communication channels.
Building relationships and providing communications advice and support across teams.
Meeting secretariat.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
Degree in the relevant field.
Desirable Criteria:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an administrative role
Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to use own initiative.
A qualification or experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
