In housing you can make a real difference, the role will involve:
Supporting the Gas Safety Manager and contract officer through prioritising, organising and monitoring the servicing, repair, installation and maintenance programmes, focussed on maintaining statutory gas compliance and the performance targets set.
Liaise with colleagues, suppliers and contractors to resolve technical queries and those relating to planning and programming activities and in order to support the delivery of heating repair, maintenance and installation contracts to a high standard, whilst continually promoting improvement.
To consistently monitor that the allocated budgets remain within the approved spend limits, raise purchase orders, seek appropriate authorisation and track completions and payments through the finance system.
Manage and monitor relevant data and systems to a high standard to ensure regulatory and legislative ‘assurance’ at all times.
As a Statutory Compliance Officer we need you to:
Have ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
Have skills and tools to manage, organise and prioritise workload
Have high IT skill and awareness to input, retrieve and manage data across numerous systems including Microsoft
