Job Title: Stock Controller

Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday) with a 30-minute lunch break

Salary Range: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum

Location: Hellaby, Rotherham

Job Overview: As a Stock Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate stock levels to support the smooth operations of our business. Your responsibilities will include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with different departments, conducting regular stock audits, and ensuring the timely and efficient flow of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Booking in of all goods received
• Ensuring stock quantities and locations are recorded accurately on relevant systems
• Generating serial numbers for equipment, producing labels and posting to jobs
• Dealing with stock enquiries and responding accordingly
• Chase suppliers to ensure delivery due dates are not missed
• Issuing Purchase Order numbers
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, receipts, and shipments.
• Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels and ensure product availability.
• Generate regular reports on stock movement, trends, and variances.
• Implement and maintain efficient Stock Control procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to forecast stock requirements and prevent stockouts.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in stock records.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
