We are looking for an experienced Stock Controller with fantastic organisation skills to join a thriving organisation within the Building Supplies industry.
The ideal candidate will have strong time management and a meticulous attention to detail. This role will mainly be dealing with insulation products and will therefore suit someone in a stock/sales focussed position.
As aStock Controllerfor this successful business, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring and improving productivity, efficiency, and performance by supporting all departments
- Maintaining and managing stock levels, using data sheets and stock forecasting spreadsheets
- Managing and maintaining strong relationships with trade clients
- Providing excellent customer care, finding, and communicating effective responses to queries and complaints
- Any other duties required.
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Proven experience in a relevant building supplies environment
- Previous experience in stock control or inventory management is highly desirable
- The ability to thrive under pressure and remain calm and considered in your approach
- Tech savvy, with good, up to date skills with experience ideally in ERP systems
- Good active listening skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with people at all levels
- Outgoing with a great personality and sense of humour!
