We are seeking an experienced and dedicated, Cafe Manager to oversee the daily management of our Ballymena Gelato store. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry and possess excellent leadership and organisational skills. The store is currently opened 7 days per week with current hours of business being 15:00pm to 21:30pm Monday to Thursday and 13:00pm to 21:30pm Friday to Sunday. The store will run on a Winter opening hour schedule for 8 months of the year and operate under a summer schedule for 4 months of the year. As a manager you will be expected to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week over 5 days with one of the days being either a Saturday or Sunday in rotation. The current winter trading hours may be subject to change depending on business trends and performance. .

Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food service industry Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Proficient in computer systems used for inventory management, scheduling, and point-of-sale operations Food safety expertise to ensure compliance with health codes and regulationsStrong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of staff membersFamiliarity with restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house procedures Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism
