STORE MANAGER – SUTTON COLDFIELD – UP TO £27,500 BASIC SALARY, EXCELLENT BONUS (OTE £45k - £50k) + BENEFITS
Experienced and highly motivated Store Manager sought by my client who is a leading retailer of high-end home improvement products.  They are a well-established family run business with over 40 years in the industry offering some of the leading makes in the industry.

Due to their continued success and expansion, they are now recruiting for a Store Manager to work from their new Sutton Coldfield store opening.

PLEASE NOTE: The new store will be opening April 2024; therefore, you will be working and training from our clients other branches in Redditch and head office (you will need to travel until the new store opening)
THE ROLE

• The successful Shop Manager will be managing a brand-new store selling high end leisure and home improvements products to customers
• This is a great opportunity to pioneer a new location and area
• You will be taking full control of the store including stock ordering, staff rotas, promotions and sales for the shop
• You will be motivating staff to ensure the showroom hits and exceeds sales and customer satisfaction targets
• The show room deals with walk in customers, customers phoning in as well as following up leads passed from manufacturers.
• You will be managing a team including Sales Executives who will also be expected to attend customers premises to advise customers at their own premises to ensure they are choosing the right products
• Opportunity for training abroad in US/Europe - must be willing to travel
• Opportunity to sell the world’s leading brands with over 1 million units sold worldwide
• This is a Full Time Permanent job including working Saturday and Sunday.  You will also be expected to work Bank Holidays and possibility of additional hours as business dictates, especially during busy periods of the year.  Hours to be discussed at interview stage
• THE ROLE IS TO START IMMEDIATELY FOR TRAINING AT THE OTHER BRANCHES AND HEAD OFFICE IN ANTICIPATION OF THE APRIL 2024 NEW STORE OPENING

THE STORE MANAGER

• Ideally you will have similar experience of managing a store / branch / showroom / shop
• Experience of selling high value items is preferred e.g.
  Car Sales, Caravan Sales, Conservatory Sales, Bathroom Sales etc.
• 3 to 5 years retail experience
• You MUST be highly motivated and able to motivate a team including Sales Executives
• Strong team work ethic and also ability to work on own
• You MUST be willing to take ownership and responsibility of the store
• You will be passionate about customer service
• Experience of working to targets, managing stock, rotas etc.
• You MUST also be able to pass a CRB / DBS check
• Ability to work in a seasonal business and work weekends
• You MUST be willing to travel between stores as a “Float” until the new store opening
• Willing to travel for training and meeting
• Live within a commutable distance to the new Sutton Coldfield store

THE SALARY

• £25,000 to £27,500 Basic Salary (Subject to experience)
• £45,000 - £50,0000OTE
• Product training (Training provided in the UK and possibly Europe depending on success)
