What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Framework Delivery Manager, the post-holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of stock, machinery and equipment held at Stonbury offices. You will live and breathe our Core Values.
Duties and Responsibilities
Engage in the health, safety and company improvement culture
Maintain Company Management System (CMS) compliance to ISO 9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001: Individuals are to ensure that company processes documented in the CMS are followed at all times
Housekeeping
Stock check, reporting and management
Equipment management and maintenance
Delivery of materials to site
Who we're looking for
You will ideally be an experienced Storeperson, or construction professional. We are looking for a real team-player who has the ability to work autonomously, presenting solutions rather than problems. You will be honest and trustworthy, acting with integrity at all times. Some driving will be required.
Skills and Experience
ESSENTIAL
The ability to easily locate and control stock in the Stores
Physically fit with the ability to lift and/or move heavy items
Full clean UK driving licence
The ability to work unsupervised and on your own initiative and keep yourself busy during quiet periods
A good communicator, able to liaise confidently with suppliers and engage with team members on a daily basis
Organised and focused
A positive attitude and committed to high levels of care for other staff members
Able to work flexibly in line with business requirements
Able to work to a high standard of health and safety and quality. Basic knowledge of health and safety is essential
DESIRABLE
Fork lift/Telehandler
PAT Training Certificate
Knowledge of COSHH
Experience in store management and/or systems
