Store Supervisor

Job Title – Store supervisor

Salary – £30,000 to £31,000

Hours – 37.5 hours per week

Job Duties:

• Responsible for overseeing the work of retail staff in store this includes monitoring employee activity, coordinating shipments and receiving the merchandise into the store alongside helping customers resolve issues as they arise.
• Make sure pricing is correct
• Liaises with team to resolve operational problems;
• Work on store displays, ensure products are clean and ready to be displayed
• Attend trade shows in order to identify new services and products
• Identify market trends that appeal to customers
• Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock
• supervises the activities of sales and the store staff;
• Establishes and monitors work schedules to meet sales and productivity targets;
• Utilize computers to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning
• Make sure that health and safety measures are met
• Monitor local competitors
• Maintain health and safety measures and store’s cleanliness
• Organize and distribute staff schedules
• Help, drive, motivate, and encourage retail sales staff to achieve sales targets
• Handle customer complaints, issues and questions.

Skills/ Experience/ Education requirements:

• Excellent written, oral, and verbal communication skills
• Must have PC skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office
• Must have customer service skills
• Must have the ability to drive
• Bi-lingual skills is an advantage.

Must have experience of working within retail environment.

Minimum academic qualifications required is a Bachelor’s degree in any field along with relevant work experience.
