Location: Hull
Salary: £24,620 (£12.80 per hour)
Assignment Length: Ongoing
 
We are seeking two enthusiastic colleagues to join our Field Operations Department. The vision is to be the best energy company in serving our 3.9 million homes, whilst delivering a sustainable energy solution. As a dedicated Storekeeper you will be an integral part of achieving this, while always striving to keep end customers power flowing.
 
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of engineering stores, issuing and receiving materials and providing a service to customers both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:

• Record accurately deliveries and issues/returns into the computer system CFS (Oracle)
• Unload and receive goods from suppliers and internal deliveries
• Ensure that onward delivery schedules are maintained and that no goods are left unsecured or unsupervised
• Maintain correct stock levels
• Stock taking to be completed at a given times
• Ensure stock security is maintained at all times
• Ensure stores are kept clean and tidy at all times
• Deliver fault materials to site (Locally) 

 
Our ideal candidate
We are seeking someone who is keen to be hands on and has a background within warehouse/stock management. This role is one where you will have genuine opportunities to progress and develop your career further. We are looking for the following:

• Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
• Awareness of H&S at work and promoting safe working practices
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Great customer service skills
• IT literate

 
Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Lorry loader crane
• CPC accreditation
• Stores / Warehouse knowledge
