Stores Assistant/ Warehouse Administrator

I am recruiting a Stores Assistant to join an industry leading manufacturing business based in Wrexham. Reporting to the Materials Manager the Stores Assistant will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing goods using an ERP system. This will include tracking of stock, stock loss and stock availability, locating stock, assisting with product packaging ready for dispatch and processing any returns.
Key responsibilities/duties:

• Goods inwards receiving and packing and despatch of customer orders and parts for sub-contractor processing
• Kitting of works orders to the factory in a timely and organised manner in accordance with the production plan
• Maintaining stock levels in accordance with company guidelines using an ERP system
• Effective storage of components within the stores area
• Ensuring stock accuracy is maintained by scheduled Stock Taking
• Working to company procedures and fulfilling quality procedures
• Working to company H&S procedures
• Fulfil other duties at manager's request
• Ability to work well as in a team
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment

The successful candidate will ideally have relevant experience in materials handling procedures and computer inventory control, in a fast moving warehouse/stores environment. You will need to have a positive attitude to work with a flexible approach, be computer literate and self-motivated.
