Stores Controller

Hours: 7am – 4.30pm, Monday – Thursday / Friday, 7am – 13.15

Benefits: Holidays 25 + bank holidays, Pension 3% company match

Salary: £23,000 per annum  

Location: Batley, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Permanent

 

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit an Stores Controller to join our business in Batley on a permanent basis.

You must have previous FLT experience.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving parts and booking in onto stock system
  • Arranging internal & external stock transfers
  • Dispatching parts
  • Cross referencing pick lists
  • Picking kits from generated pick lists and allocating free stock
  • Regular auditing of stock quantities
  • Documenting and quarantining non-conforming parts
  • Re-ordering consumable stock with suppliers
  • Safe fork lift operation
  • Following up with suppliers on outstanding orders
  • Shop floor consumable replenishment
  • General department housekeeping
  • Production filling PPE
  • Placing goods in in the correct location within a timely manner

 

Experience and Skills:

  • Must have FLT experience
  • Able to use own initiative and work without supervision
  • Motivated and professional with a desire to achieve results with a commercial and customer focus.
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dynamic and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail
