Stores Coordinator and Service Support - Permanent Position

Your new role
The Stores Coordinator & Service Support will be responsible for managing the inventory of goods in a pharmaceutical GxP and general stores environment. Ensuring seamless operations, preventing stock outs, and facilitating ad hoc spares procurement for engineering repairs.
Additionally, conducting stocktaking activities, managing WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) waste disposal, and ensuring compliance with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations.
This role is also responsible for supporting the Service desk function for all Engineering requests.
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management, preferably in a pharmaceutical setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and track inventory movements.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to pharmaceutical storage, waste management, and COSHH compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with suppliers, engineers, colleagues, and regulatory authorities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of CMMS for inventory stock control and asset management
- Good understanding and experience of the Business Effectiveness process.
- Effective computer skills and use of system software including SAP, Ariba, Maximo, Airsweb, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Foundation knowledge of Health & Safety systems and processes
