SalaryWe are currently recruiting for aStores Foreman to work for a company based in Longstanton.
The role is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday on a 48-hour week and they’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Typical duties would include:
- Be the main point of contact for all stores and yard activities.
- Ensure company targets are met accurately and in a timely fashion, abiding by company health and safety policies.
- Ensure material documentation is filled, filed and recorded on stock control software.
- Carry out stock counts periodically and act on this accordingly.
- Look for ways to improve material movement and storage.
- Ensure health and safety requirements of the company are always met.
- Working tidily to maintain a safe working environment.
The Successful Candidate:
- Proactive in assisting others
- Awareness of Health and Safety standards
- Physically fit and happy to work outside.
- Confident using computers.
- Good organisation, team-working and communication skills.
- Forklift Licence (Preferable but not required)
