A storesperson is required to manage the incoming deliveries and outgoing finished product shipments as well as keeping a track of many electronic components and electrical parts. This role also requires you to load feeders for pick and place machines used to manufacture printed circuit board assemblies, electronic components come on reels containing large numbers of parts so reels/feeders will need to be checked out of stock and partial reels returned to stock when a job has been completed on the assembly lines.
Responsibilities
· Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received.
· Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock.
· Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items.
· Updating inventory management system (InFlow) regularly.
· Picking components and loading feeders.
· Returning unused items from feeders back into stores, updating InFlow.
· Booking outgoing shipments with couriers.
Qualifications/Experience
· Several years’ experience working in stores.
· Computer literate (InFlow, Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Develop written procedures to contribute to ISO9001 Quality Manual.
Desirable Skills
· Experience in electronics assembly environment a distinct advantage.

· Attention to detail.
· Not afraid to point out potential problems and suggest improvements to more senior staff.
· Good communicator both spoken and written.
· Confident but not overconfident.
· Lives locally, northwest England
· Comfortable working in small company.
