Job description

Are you looking for a warehouse role with a difference? Or maybe you're searching for a way into a career in purchasing or procurement and would relish a physically demanding role!
We are looking to recruit a Stores and Procurement Administrator to join our small team in Salisbury, providing warehouse support of IT equipment being delivered in and out of our open warehouses. The successful applicant will also deliver orders of new and replacement kit for approximately 200 colleagues on site. This will require applicants to have a full driving licence.
You will also work with another team in the warehouse to welcome goods and make sure all items are scanned and put away in assigned locations. As well as picking orders and scanning them out to be delivered to colleagues in other areas on site. Responsibilities will also include the management of stock, data input, processing of orders and liaising with customers, other procurement colleagues
If required, training will also be provided on the back office systems to monitor the stock levels of such high value units and also the processes involved in purchasing replacement items.
This role will be based on site Monday to Friday, but there will be the opportunity to work in other locations, predominantly within the South West and Greater London regions too.
Please note: This role does include manual handling responsibilities. i.e. lifting/carrying etc. and all applicants will need to be comfortable with this aspect of the role.
What you'll be doing:

  • Responding to orders and other queries assigned via our service management tool
  • Consistently maintain stock levels and keep inventory records up to date
  • Complete weekly stock takes
  • Work closely with colleagues to make sure service delivery meets customer requirements
  • Purchasing IT equipment and consumables via the specific procurement channels
  • Follow correct procedures for collection, asset management and efficient disposal of equipment, including data cleansing
  • Occasionally provide cover to other sites within the South-West and London region

What you'll bring:

  • The ability to work as part of a team and delivering group objectives
  • Manual handling or warehousing experience
  • Full driving license

It would be great if you had:
  • SC Clearance
  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role
