Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with a leading sub contract manufacturer to recruit a Stores Supervisor for its Portsmouth site.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Factory Manager you will:

• Managing inventory and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and goods into and out
• Receive, Inspect and Record all incoming materials.
• Pick and pack items for despatch against daily schedule.
• Generate delivery notes using organisations ERP system.

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Proficient in using inventory management software and basic computer skills, experience with Javelin ERP software and advantage.
• Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment and manage maintenance of equipment advantageous, otherwise professional training will be provided.

Personal skills:
The Stores Supervisor role would suit someone who is:

• Previous experience in similar role, preferably in CNC machining or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and track inventory.
