Pertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for a Stores Team Leader for our Logistic client based in Aylesbury.
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000
Hours: 7am-4pm
The main purpose of this role is to oversee the Stores team. Our client is looking for a hands-on person who is willing to get involved.
Duties:
- Supervising Store Operatives and sub-contractors
- Overseeing the scheduling, maintenance, storage, and allocation of equipment
- Maintaining stock records
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment between uses
- Communicating company procedures and policies to the team via team meetings and daily checklists
- Ensuring the team are completing their checklists
- Checking stocks and orders
- Some van driving when needed
- Liaising with Account Managers regarding equipment and stock
- Testing all equipment
- Updating the repair log sheet and liaise with outside maintenance contractors on site
Requirements:
- Previous Stores experience
- Computer literate
- Own vehicle due the location
- PAT testing/Forklift experience is an advantage
