Storesperson - Thetford

Join our client's team in Watton, as they continue to lead the way in the Manufacturing and Production industry. We are searching for a motivated and reliable Storesperson to contribute to the smooth operation of our client's dynamic and pressured workshop environment.

Hours: Day Shifts / Monday - Friday

Pay: £11.50 an hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently receiving, checking, and handling all incoming goods, ensuring proper documentation
• Accurately picking and packing orders, ensuring items are correctly labelled for despatch
• Maintaining inventory and stock control, conducting regular stock takes
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
• Assisting with general warehouse duties including cleaning and organising to ensure a safe working environment

Desired Skills:

• An ability to work well in a dynamic and pressured workshop environment
• The skill to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• A methodical, reliably systematic approach to work with an eye for detail
• A keen approach and willingness to learn and grow within the organisation
• Good computer literacy with the ability to adapt to different software systems
• Advantageous skills include knowledge/experience of inspection in hazardous environments, understanding of standards, and the ability to read engineering drawings
