SalaryJoin our client's team in Watton, as they continue to lead the way in the Manufacturing and Production industry. We are searching for a motivated and reliable Storesperson to contribute to the smooth operation of our client's dynamic and pressured workshop environment.
Hours: Day Shifts / Monday - Friday
Pay: £11.50 an hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently receiving, checking, and handling all incoming goods, ensuring proper documentation
- Accurately picking and packing orders, ensuring items are correctly labelled for despatch
- Maintaining inventory and stock control, conducting regular stock takes
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Assisting with general warehouse duties including cleaning and organising to ensure a safe working environment
Desired Skills:
- An ability to work well in a dynamic and pressured workshop environment
- The skill to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- A methodical, reliably systematic approach to work with an eye for detail
- A keen approach and willingness to learn and grow within the organisation
- Good computer literacy with the ability to adapt to different software systems
- Advantageous skills include knowledge/experience of inspection in hazardous environments, understanding of standards, and the ability to read engineering drawings
