In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing key client accounts, working collaboratively to achieve their business objectives and exceed expectations.Responsibilities of the Account Manager:
- Manage key client relationships: Be the primary contact for assigned accounts, building trust with key decision-makers.
- Drive revenue growth: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize client lifetime value.
- Develop Strategic Account plans: Set goals, track progress, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts.
- Resolve client issues: Proactively address concerns and find solutions to problems.
- Strategic thinking: Analyse client needs and recommend solutions aligned with their long-term goals.
- Market awareness: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure your clients have a competitive advantage.
- Negotiation skills: Secure agreements that are favourable for both the client and the company.
- Forecasting and budgeting: Develop accurate forecasts and budgets for assigned accounts.
- Reporting and analysis: Prepare reports on client activity, satisfaction, and key metrics.
- Visit clients approximately three days per week (car allowance available)
The successful Account Manager will need to have/be:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Strategic Account Management or similar role
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Demonstrate competence in utilising our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other relevant software programs
In return this Account Manager role will pay a basic of 35K plus uncapped commission and many other benefits.
