About you
In this influential role, you will be a visible leader, adept at working effectively with partners and families. As the designated Director of Children Services, you will fulfil statutory responsibilities and lead diverse services aimed at improving outcomes while prioritising the safeguarding and well-being of Children and young people in Waltham Forest.
As a key part of our Strategic Leadership Team, you will collaborate closely with Chief Executive Linzi Roberts-Egan, receiving the empowerment and support needed to achieve operational excellence, forge effective partnerships with schools and stakeholders, and deliver exceptional value for our community.
Your role is pivotal in applying your experience and expertise to introduce fresh ideas, contributing to the enhancement of priority services such as special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), addressing Education Health and Care plan (EHCP) demand, and future-proofing our social care services.
