The Street Scene service are offering a number of exciting opportunities to be part of the new 7 day service team. We are looking to appoint someone to deliver our services Monday - Thursday in the Northwest to meet the future demands of our customers and the Borough.

The role will involve delivering street cleansing, waste collection and grounds maintenance activities to ensure a high standard of customer care is achieved and our service standards are met.

You will be required to work 37 hours per week over 4 days (Monday to Thursday).

The service covers a variety of tasks using varied pieces of equipment and vehicles.

Duties of Senior Operatives may include removal of flytipping, maintaining parks and open space maintenance, street cleansing, litter picking, the use of other specialist equipment, planting schemes and pothole repairs.

Senior Operatives may also be required to drive larger sweeper vehicles or horticultural vehicles such as tractors.

Applicants should:-

• Have a full driving licence
• Be willing to undergo any additional training as required
• Have experience of customer facing service delivery
• Be committed to providing a high standard of service
• Be flexible and prepared to work at different locations
• Previous experience would be beneficial.
• This post involves working outdoors in all weather, full uniform is provided.
