Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a Stress Engineer, you will work remotely to support our activities within the Aerospace sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Checking or approving stress reports for the Airbus A350-900, A350-1000, A350-1000 ULR and A350-Freighter centre fuselage.
  • Conducting Static, Finite Element, Fatigue & Damage Tolerance structural analysis, composite and metallic.
  • Analysing and validating Metallic, Composites/Hybrids structures at component level for Static strength, F&DT.
  • Signing off or approving stress reports
  • Providing feedback on Stress Analysis/Hand Calculations to focal points.

Experience, skills, and qualifications required:

  • ISAMI (must have)
  • 12+ years of experience
  • Ability to do the induction in Belfast and then work remotely after
  • Ability to gain BPSS clearing
  • Bachelors in engineering
