Blueprint Recruitment has a brilliant new opportunity for a motivated Structural Design Engineer to join a respected leading construction Consultancy on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will attend the Hemel Hempstead office 3 times per week to contribute to a variety of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for clients, contractors, design teams and third parties
• Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities
• Design and specify all aspects of Structural works
• Producing design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, reports and site surveys
• Liaising with clients and members of the design team to ensure progress against the project brief
• Deliver multiple projects or parts of projects to completion
• Ensure the provision of efficient, high-quality structural Engineering designs

Key Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer Status or working towards
• Experience working on Drainage projects
• Degree in Structural Engineering or a relevant field
• Able to develop scopes of work and delivery programmes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage and work to budget and program, to control costs and manage change control processes
• Good understanding of current design standards and working practices
• The ability to make decisions, act on your own initiative and operate in a pro-active way
