Salary: 40k upwards
· Develop designs in accordance with the Client’s requirements and relevant design standards to achieve cost effective solutions. These will include British Standards, European Standards and industry specific design standards
· Develop to advanced level design packages, in the use of structural analysis software (preferably Robot Structural Analysis, Tekla, TEDDS, Revit), AutoCAD, MS Office and various other in-house calculation software as required.
· Represent the structures department in multi-disciplinary project teams.
· Prepare and check structural reports, design calculations, structural analysis models and other written documents.
· Keep up to-date with industry developments and changes in standards.
· Collaborate with other disciplines and offices within the company to develop successful designs and solutions to engineering problems.
· Travel to client and supplier facilities (UK wide) as required.

Essential Skills and Competencies
Minimum 5-10 years of industry experience
Desirable:
· ability to design civils elements of work, for example foundations, drainage, roads
· near Chartered with IStructE or ICE
