Conrad Consulting is working with an innovative practice based on the outskirts of Sevenoaks, who are seeking a Structural Engineer to enhance their existing buildings structures design capability.
They invest in relationships both with clients and their staff, making career development a pivotal part of your working life with them.
Their projects include high-end residential, leisure, commercial, data centres, hotels and more.
The role:
- Will see you working alongside more senior engineers who will assist you in technical aspects and support you;
- Once you have settled in, you will take ownership of your own projects;
- Requires collaboration with internal and external teams;
- Produce buildings structures design solutions, from concept to completion;
- Prepare calculations in Eurocodes, designing in all traditional materials;
- Attend meetings and site visits.
About you:
- Degree in civil or STRUCTURAL ENGINEERing;
- At least 2 years’ design experience within a UK consultancy;
- Working knowledge of UK design and construction standards;
- Proficient in Tekla would be an Advantage.
The role also requires good communication and problem-solving skills.
