SalaryBlueprint recruitment is looking to speak with committed Structural Engineers to join a leading Engineering and Construction Consultancy on a contract basis, outside IR35. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely on a variety of Rail projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake research, data collection and presentation of information
- Present results to clients under supervision from the practice
- Help maintain a broad range of skills within the team to ensure full support is provided to the design staff
- Able to use technical skills and knowledge on a wide range of building structures
- Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures
- Awareness of and work in compliance with BIM standards, Digital Plan of Work and the project BIM Execution plan
- Assist with the development of junior staff
Key Requirements:
- Experience working on Rail projects
- Working towards or achieved Chartership status
- Proven experience in the design of structures using the conventional engineering materials
- Degree in Structural Engineering
- Experience in the use of structural analysis design software (Robot Structural Analysis and Revit experience is desirable but not essential)
- Willingness and flexibility to learn new software
- Strong Circa experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Able to make decisions, act on your own initiative and operate in a pro-active way
