An independent Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based on the Wirral, Merseyside, are looking for a Structural Engineer with 3-5 years' experience in a design consultancy environment to join their growing team and business and work remotely.
The company have a very strong (and growing) reputation amongst their client-base and work largely in the Residential and Commercial sector space. Their team currently numbers at 7 and they're looking to add someone who has the skill and experience to work autonomously but still obviously liaise with the team on project work and site visits.
At the moment, they don't have their own office space but do sometimes convene in a co-working space. To maintain the social and cultural element of the business, they typically have a social on the final Friday of the month (most recently at Flight Club Manchester, for example) and of course have their annual summer and Christmas celebrations as a team.
Ideally, they're looking for:
A Structural Engineer
At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
A degree in Engineering or an Engineering-related field
Experience using AutoCAD
Someone with aspirations for Chartership with either the ICE or IStructE
The company are offering the right candidate a base salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits.
