Job description

Leeds International Study Centre and its programmes are provided by Study Group in collaboration with the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University.
You will work within the existing Registry & Operations Team to ensure the day-to-day administrative functions of the office are carried out. A key area of focus specific to this role will be on the inputting, recording, reporting and analysing student data, including producing progression data and associated reports, timetabling and assessments. You will need to be highly organised, with strong ICT skills and an administrative background.
ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Using IT systems (Salesforce and TimeEdit) to create and maintain the teaching timetable
  • Ensuring students are studying the correct modules for progression and allocate to registration and teaching groups
  • Responsible for setting-up induction and student event timetables
  • Responsible for the maintenance of accurate student data in existing student management systems and for data uploads into the systems
  • Responsible for setting-up and maintaining Assessment Screens, including RPAG (student reports) in Salesforce
  • Responsible for pulling and formatting data sheets for Assessment Boards
  • Creating exam timetables and seating plans
  • Releasing teaching and assessment timetables to students and staff
  • Provide reports and data to the Centre Management Team, which include (but not limited to): Pre-arrival and Post-arrival student reports.
  • To assist the wider Student Experience Team and the Academic Team in compiling data requests (to include Progression Data)
  • Monitoring student attendance in accordance with company policy and UKVI requirements
  • To support student induction and progression activities
  • To provide general administrative support for the center, for example, general student queries - face to face, by email and phone, ordering stationary and handling petty cash.

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of Level 4 qualification (HNC/HND/Foundation Degree/Year) or equivalent
  • Experience of timetabling or similar complex data handling
  • Ability to produce and interpret complex data
  • Ability to problem solve and solution focused
  • Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines whilst maintaining a professional and calm manner
  • Strong IT skills specifically Microsoft Office are essential as well as experience of working with record management systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills with an ability to communicate with key stakeholders including students in a professional and helpful manner
  • Evidence of working cooperatively with others
