Student Mental Health Worker. Part time. 17 hours per week. Term time only. 37 Weeks per year. Permanent. We are looking to appoint a Student Mental Health Worker to join the Wellbeing Team at Leicester College to support students who are experiencing Mental Health problems. As a Student Mental Health Worker, you will be an experienced Mental Health professional who is adept at managing a complex caseload and is comfortable both working autonomously and as part of a team. Working closely with the Wellbeing Coordinator and other Student Mental Health Workers, you will assist with triage and assessments and provide one-to-one therapeutic and psychoeducational interventions and support to students. The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent along with recent and relevant experience of working within a Mental Health context and an awareness of a diverse range of Mental Health problems. The successful candidate will also be educated to Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent). This role is part-time, requiring 17 hours per week, and involves flexible working across all Leicester College campuses.
