Role Purpose
The Student Recruitment Advisor is responsible for promoting and selling the programs of the Universities/ Awarding bodies to students, responding to potential students on various courses, and identifying the appropriate courses to meet their goals. This role is for our Student Recruitment Advisor Direct Team.
Main Responsibilities
Role And Responsibilities
• Making outbound calls to convert prospective students into applications to our courses
• Taking Outreach / Events and all-inclusive community events as our main objective to promote GBS and its courses to increase numbers for each intake.
• Reaching out to prospective students who have an interest in applying to our courses, with the aim of supporting them through the application process, through to enrolment.
• Ensure customer data is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion into all appropriate systems.
• Travel to other GBS campuses may be required from time to time, in accordance with business need.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
• Able to communicate effectively, with empathy, by phone, face to face and in writing.
• Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
• Commitment to providing a first-class service to students.
• Experience of working positively and effectively with others.
• Able to receive and process information quickly and accurately under time pressure.
• Well-developed skills in organising self (tasks, priorities, and time)
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.
• Detail-oriented and decision-making skills.
