Salary: Grade 7 (£37,099 - £44,263 p.a. depending on experience) This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements. In this role, you will support the delivery of provision across several areas of our portfolio. You will work with those involved in delivering Student Education Development supporting colleagues to develop and achieve recognition for their learning and teaching practices. Working as part of the team, you will design and deliver workshops, online resources and support our accredited professional recognition provision. Your knowledge or experience should cover supporting colleagues who are teaching or supporting teaching in higher education. You will also contribute to resources and development opportunities offered by our other professional services to deliver against the Student Education strategy/action plans. You will be part of the Student Education Development team within Academic Development in the Organisational and Professional Learning Department (OD&PL). Our portfolio supports the delivery of the University’s strategy for Student Education. Our provision is shaped by the University strategic priorities (Student Education Strategy and Curriculum Redefined) and is informed by sector standards and best practice in learning, teaching and research development. You will have excellent facilitation, interpersonal and professional learning design skills, plus relevant experience and knowledge to enable you to provide effective development to staff who teach, staff supporting teaching and postgraduate researchers who teach (PGRs). You will also have knowledge and experience of interpreting and responding to the requirements from external stakeholders, such as AdvanceHE as well as an understanding of local and national CPD frameworks, such as the Professional Standards Framework for Learning and Teaching (PSF).
