As part of our new Student Recruitment strategy, we are appointing to a number of new roles across our Recruitment & Admissions team, where this post is located. Our new strategy sets out LSE’s increased commitment to attracting a truly global and diverse range of students, across the full academic portfolio. The Student Recruitment and Events Coordinator (Home) will provide essential support for LSE’s Student Recruitment activities in the UK with a particular focus on increasing applications for postgraduate programmes. The role will also play a central role in the planning, organisation and successful delivery of high-profile recruitment activities, including Open Days, the Offer Holders’ Day and Virtual Graduate Open Events, and represent the School at recruitment events both on campus and around the UK. The Student Recruitment and Study Abroad team has primary responsibility for: Student Recruitment – Delivery of activities that will achieve application targets for Home and International recruitment in line with the School’s strategic objectives. Study Abroad and Exchanges – Management of the School’s year-long study abroad programme (The General Course) and the GO LSE student exchange programme. Candidates must have: Excellent planning and organisational skills. Experience of communicating with a variety of audiences. Ability to innovate and use initiative to achieve objectives.
