We are looking for a highly organised, collaborative events specialist who will play a key role in raising the profile of the University of Sheffield and influencing the decisions of prospective students. This is an exciting new role where the post-holder will work with colleagues to plan a wide range of in-person and online events, and deliver an inspiring visitor experience. They will be based in a new Faculty Hub, and act as a key link between the academic departments in their area and the Shared Service that informs and delivers the University's Student Recruitment strategy. The role will have a focus on specific subject areas, to support individual academic departments in achieving the University of Sheffield's overarching Student Recruitment strategy. You will develop close, productive working relationships with academic staff in your subject area, and the Student Recruitment, marketing and events specialists in both your Faculty Hub and the Shared Service as a whole. You will need great communication skills, experience of planning, delivering and evaluating successful events, and a passion for customer service.
