SalaryWe are recruiting for a Behavioural Support / Student Welfare Officer, for one of our secondary schools in Failsworth/Bury.

You will be working closely with your Head of Year and predominately working with one specific year group.
The successful Behavioural Support Officer will be responsible for managing the behaviour, attendance, and support for students across the school. You will be monitoring their attendance, arranging home visits where required & offering support to them in school.

This is not solely defined by academic standards as they recognise that achievement will take many forms depending on the individual potential, interests and talents of each young person. About you:
Beneficial traits for this role include patience, resilience and approachability; you also need to have the ability to communicate effectively with the SENDCO, class teacher, external agencies and parents about SEND pupils learning and progress.
