It's a busy and exciting time for the brand and we’re on the hunt for a Junior Studio Production Manager to join our growing Studio team.

The Role:
Reporting into the Senior Production Manager, the focus of the Junior Production Manager role is to oversee and manage all production for New Look’s in house studio, including all ecommerce shoots and some brand creative shoots.
This role is responsible for the seamless running of day-to-day activities for the e-com studios. This role requires someone who is highly organised and a great communicator ensuring optimum efficiency at the highest standard. This role is for someone that is flexible with a can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for the studio team, managing the smooth day-to-day running of the studio photo shoots and dealing with any ad hoc queries
- Ensuring all teams know when & where they need to be and what they need to be doing in order to meet shoot timings
- Effectively plan, resource and manage the ecommerce shoot schedule – managing the onset and freelance teams availability, confirmations, call sheets, holiday and sickness
- Updating & maintaining the schedule with all relevant shoot & team information
- Inputting all relevant shoot info into shoot management system
- Anticipate and resolve any risks or challenges to the smooth running of the day
- Build a strong creative freelance roster of different skills and standards that can meet the different business requirements
- Managing and reacting to late notice cancellations/sickness
- Prepare for intake peaks and troughs and ensure that the studio has freelance resource to meet peaks in demand
- Front of house contact for any external colleagues, welcoming and helping with any queries and/or showing them where they need to go
- Welcoming models and freelancers, ensuring they have everything they need whilst they’re on set
- Support with the reporting of studio, freelance and model arrival times, chasing if anyone is delayed
- Ensure all stakeholders are clear on what is expected of them, such as correct HMU, photography sets, etc
- Support with HMU references management; ensuring all HMU artists have their daily model references
- Review production processes and evolve to constantly improve workflow, productivity, and efficiencies
- Anticipate and resolve any potential production risks; always be one step ahead (e.g. train strikes)
- Build and maintain professional relationships with all external associates
- Build relationships within the studio department and keep open communication with onset shoot teams
- Monitor and support the studio team to guarantee agreed KPI’s and SLAs are delivered
- Support the onset shoot teams to help reduce the number of issues and improving efficiency and ways of working
- Prepare monthly and weekly reports for the Senior Production manager
- Mentor the Studio Production Assistant and ensure they can cover your role as and when required
- Be able to cover Studio Production Assistant role, including PO, invoice and budget duties when on annual leave
- Work closely with Senior Production Manager on tracking weekly spend on freelancers, and reporting overspend
- Working closely with Senior Production Manager on adhering to e-com studio budgets, forecasting, and delivery of guaranteed cost per product
- Support with Seasonal lighting and creative refreshes. Working Senior Creative lead and Senior Production Manager on set builds, prop sourcing, hiring/purchasing equipment and logistics
- General on set support - steaming, general tidying, pack up & downs
- Manage all studio purchases and orders including photography equipment, styling & HMU kits.
- Manage receipting all purchases with company credit card on SAP – tracking spending to ensuring in line with budget
- Oversee all facilities communications, from ad hoc maintenance to weekly set painting
- Close working relationship with the NL Creative & Brand team
- Develop best practice process for internal Brand / Creative shoots. Ensuring everyone has all the information and support that they need to deliver high standard of shoots in a timely cost efficient way
- Produce weekly Studio 45 x Creative shoots; utilising studio space & resource
- Provide extra production support to creative when needed including organising prop sourcing/ ordering, freelance bookings and on the day shoot support
- Ad hoc support for the Senior Casting Manager on studio casting and licenses
- Support SCM on casting day production
- Support with future platform/website changes. Ensuring production needs and requirements are captured in the development process
- An approachable and highly effective communicator across all levels of the studio and external stakeholders
- To support in the delivery of the studio strategy and purpose
- Support HOS and Senior Managers by creating studio presentation decks
- Support HOS and Senior Production Manager on ad hoc tasks outside of BAU
About You:
- Great knowledge of the photo shoot and production process and its technical requirements
- Previous production experience, scheduling and managing freelance resource
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem solving with the ability to work under pressure and on several projects simultaneously
- Flexible and adaptable
- A proactive, positive and can-do attitude
- Experience in excellent time keeping and keeping to strict deadlines
- Excellent eye for detail
- Highly organised and self-starter. Able to motivate and work well as part of a team in a highly pressurised environment
- PC literate in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Degree level qualifications preferred
