Loose Women is an award winning show! Whether it’s getting celebrities to open up like never before or having Hollywood stars like Matthew McConaughey join our first ever Loose Men show, Daytime’s longest-running talk show continues to set the news agenda every weekday for our million-plus viewers. And now, you have a chance to join our talented team.
We are looking for a superstar Assistant Producer, brimming with brilliant, never-seen-before ideas for TV content that will continue to get our viewers talking. You must know the topics that are guaranteed to connect with our audience and be able to source interesting and unique stories before they break anywhere else. The ideal candidate will be able to turn current affairs, showbiz, and hard news stories into compelling debates, knowing just how to strike that delicate balance between light and shade on our show.
You will know how to get the best from a celebrity guest, as well as having a journalistic background and used to working in a live news environment.
As you will be assisting the producer in the gallery to oversee studio production, you must have experience of live daytime television, strong people skills and the ability to supervise where and when is appropriate. You must have an understanding of compliance guidelines and OFCOM regulations and a flexible approach to work as you will be working to a shift pattern, which will on occasion include weekends and bank holidays.
Last, but not least, a great sense of humour is a must – as well as talking about the tough issues of the day, Loose Women provides our viewers with a laugh at lunchtime.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Experience of live daytime television at AP level
- Gallery experience at AP level
- An understanding of compliance guidelines and OFCOM regulations
