Sir Robert Pattinson Academy is an 11 – 18 comprehensive school judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted as a result of the education and opportunities provided to pupils, enabling them to flourish within a calm and caring environment. The Academy is situated on an extensive, beautiful site offering purpose-built facilities on the outskirts of Lincoln, towards the Nottinghamshire border. The area boasts affordable housing and good road and rail networks to the South and Midlands.

What we need

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional full time Subject Leader of Geography to join us in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing teaching and outcomes across Geography. You will be looking for an opportunity to enhance your career in the classroom and have the ability to effectively develop your pedagogy and practice as the Subject Leader of a high performing team. Experience of teaching Geography across the full range of KS3-5 is desirable.  In addition, you will need to be an enthusiastic, lively and versatile leader with a passion for your subject and the desire to contribute to the future direction and success of the Humanities department and the Academy as a whole.

The post would suit experienced teachers, for whom an effective induction scheme is in place.
