Location: Remote – someone based in North, UK
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 DOE + Company Car
Working hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week – 9am - 5.30pm
We're looking for a Subsidence Field Surveyor who will be responsible for providing proactive direction & technical control and decision making on a portfolio of subsidence repairs. Responsible to produce the specification of repairs and ongoing technical direction throughout the life of the repair to completion. Be the main contact for the subsidence team in relation to the technical aspects of the repair to enable them to manage their caseload of Subsidence files.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the Subsidence Management Team to design and deliver strategy and process developments, including training to staff as required.
- Being involved in the review and understanding of MI reports and to assist with the improvements where required in terms of the repair phase.
- Taking the final decision on the accuracy of all schedules of repair and develop the project, working closely with the subsidence team
- Supporting the ongoing development of the Repair Claim Managers including the provision of workshops
- Production of the specification of repairs and seeing the repair to completion.
- Complaint Handling skills
- Recognised construction and / or engineering qualification / accreditation is required
- Excellent customer service skills and previous experience
- Excellent Negotiation skills
- Deep knowledge and extensive experience of the principals involved in the construction, repair and maintenance of domestic buildings is essential, within the subsidence area.
