Fat Hippo Fleet are looking for Summer Event Staff to join our outdoor events team in the North East.

What are we looking for?

• Previous catering or events experience is preferred but not essential
• Good availability especially at weekends June - September.
• An eagerness to learn new skills and develop current skills
• Ability to follow and understand company specifications and hygiene standards
• A team player with good communication skills
• Willingness to stay away from home and camp at festivals if required.

As Summer Event Staff member at Fat Hippo you’ll be out and about at many different events and festivals, serving and cooking in front of customers from our various bespoke outdoor catering units. This role offers a great opportunity to earn some money over Summer (June - September) while offering a varied and exciting working environment at Deer Shed Festival ,Mouth of the Tyne Festival and many more.

Born in 2010 with roots in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Fat Hippo are renowned for the best burgers and dirty fries. This is ‘good old fashioned, roll up your sleeves and get it all over your face’ food.

The Fat Hippo Fleet brings our burgers and dirty fries to the great outdoors. We cater at music festivals, food festivals, private parties, weddings and a whole host of other events always ensuring Good food, messy fingers and juicy burgers.

Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
