As a Supermarket Retail Trainee Manager, you'll have the chance to enhance your retail skills through hands-on training by a highly experienced retail owner who has a vast background in the supermarket industry. We're seeking an enthusiastic individual with solid experience in the retail grocery sector ideally someone at Supervisor or junior management level who wishes to step up to become part of the senior team and is eager to grow within a household name retail supermarket group for career advancement. The salary for Trainee Manager position ranges from €30,000 to €33,000 DOE.

Responsibilities for this Retail Trainee Manager Job:
You will work closely with the senior grocery shop manager, to learn the process of placing orders using their back office and ordering systems.
Understanding and implementing food safety and sanitation guidelines is essential.
You will learn about proper handling, storage, and temperature control of fresh food and grocery retail items to ensure they are safe for consumption.
Will be given exposure to people management, leading and evaluating people's work mainly within the grocery and retail departments, providing training and direction to complete tasks.
Collaboration and effective communication are essential to coordinate tasks, address challenges, and maintain a smooth operation.
You will provide support in various operational aspects, such as scheduling, staffing, and managing work shifts.
The ideal candidate for this Retail Trainee Manager Job:
Have strong attention to detail
People management skills
Grocery or fresh food knowledge with some ordering experience, ideally within Retail, Supermarkets, Catering, or Cafe environments would be essential for this job.
Organisational skills
Be able to work within a team and on your own initiative
Flexible to work different shifts, mornings and evenings
