- the successful applicant to have the responsibility of the overall smooth operation of the store
- maintain adequate stock levels and place orders wit suppliers
- oversee the training and development of all staff
- organise sales promotions and in store events
- deal with queries/complaints from customers
- analyse sales figures and forecast future sales growth
- maintain budgets and cost analysis. make payments to suppliers and pay expenses of the business
- plan work rotas and holidays for all staff
- have excellent customer services skills
- work well under pressure
- ability to work with others and manage the retail staff to increase sales
- must have at least 3 years experience in retail management preferably Asian grocery store
