Earthworks Supervisor

Location: Leiston, Suffolk

Duration: Long term Contract

I am currently recruiting for a Earthworks Supervisor to work on a major civil engineering project based in the Suffolk area.

Responsibilities for the Supervisor:

• Responsible for the safe running of (allocated) sites and monitor the implementation and control of safe working procedures
• You will be responsible for managing sub-contractor schemes
• Prepare, Implement and Review risk assessments and method statements
• Manage/liaise with Sub-Contractors as appropriate
• Conduct depot and site Inductions
• Weekly Health & Safety & Environmental Inspections
• Issue Works Order and Permits
• Complete daily Site Diaries
• Complete permits and sign off ITP’s

Requirements for the Supervisor:

• Previous experience in a Earthworks Supervisor position or in a similar role
• Experience Supervising ground works and earthworks.
• Ability to use initiative and make critical decisions under pressure
• SMSTS/SSSTS
• CSCS card
