Rates:
We pay the NAECI Blue Book rates and when required; lodge and radius payment
Hours/Shifts: 44hrs M – F

Job Specification:
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of labour
- Carry out work in progress
- Document deliveries to site
- Allocate necessary drawings
- Obtaining work permits
- Allocate instructions on QRA basis
- Document any remedial work
- Responsible for the safe planning, control and execution of the lifting operation and producing the safe system of work
- Ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with any agreed safe systems of work such as lifting plans, permits to work, method statements, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, operating procedures and safety briefings.
- Ensure that new employees, particularly labourers, improvers and young workers are shown the correct method of working and all safety precautions are followed.
- Ensure that daily pre-use checks of work equipment have been undertaken and where appropriate recorded. Report any defects of plant or equipment immediately.
- Ensure that all work equipment has been serviced, maintained and where appropriate, examined, tested, calibrated, tagged and suitable records maintained.
- Look for and suggest ways of eliminating hazards.
- Consult and communicate with the workforce on H&S matters and seek to gain participation and cooperation of the workforce.
- Take reasonable care of your own H&S and ensure that your actions do not put other people, fellow employees or members of the public at risk by what you do or don’t do in the course of your work.
- Follow the processes outlined in the ISO Integrated Management System.
