Lynx Recruitment is currently working with a Consulting organisation, looking to recruit an experienced Supplier Management Consultant.
This Consultancy combines its focus on helping companies with Business Change & transformation and a focus on Future technology/AI so the projects and programmes you will be working on are very attractive and exciting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of IT contracts on behalf of our clients, ensuring the consistent implementation of best practice Contract & Supplier Management.
- Provide training and coaching to key client stakeholders, supporting the continuous development of Contract & Supplier Management capability within their organisation.
- Implement and manage best practice Supplier Performance Management in the portfolio of contracts, driving continuous improvement in performance.
- Implement best practice Supplier Relationship Management within the portfolio of contracts, focusing on developing mutually beneficial relationships with the client’s most strategic suppliers.
- Deliver joint improvement projects with suppliers, improving performance and delivering shared value.
What’s needed?
- Experience managing large and complex contracts and suppliers.
- The ability to write clear communication, dazzling presentations and provide clear insight which promotes positive change.
- Fantastic interpersonal and communications skills - a real people person.
- Experience training and coaching people to support them be more effective in managing contracts and suppliers
- Lean Six Sigma or equivalent improvement experience is desirable for some, but not all of these roles, experience applying this within a supply chain would also be beneficial.
Applicants must be degree educated within an IT or Business-related field.
