ARM are delighted to be supporting a business that is turning the Estate Agency industry on its head.
We are supporting them with the Recruitment of a Supplier Manager on a permanent basis.
This role is responsible for managing the supplier database and facilitating effective communication between the organisation and its suppliers. The Supplier manager supports the business owners with the negotiation of new contracts and performance of suppliers to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods or services.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain a comprehensive supplier management process.
* Coordinate and maintain relationships with suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day interactions.
* Works with Functional Leads to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and other relevant factors.
* Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders or invoices.
* Manage supplier contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are favourable.
* Supports business owners with regular performance reviews of key suppliers.
* Manage and maintain a successful supplier onboarding and offboarding process including the negotiation of key terms.
* Implement supplier risk management processes, including contingency plans and alternative supplier options.
Requirements
* Knowledge of procurement and supplier management principles.
* Experience in contract negotiation, supplier evaluation, and performance measurement.
* Ability to analyse supplier data to evaluate supplier capabilities, assess risk, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Understanding of legal and compliance requirements related to supplier contracts and agreements.
* Exceptional organisational skills to effectively manage the supplier database.
* Ideally CIPS qualified.
