The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Technical, the candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident of liaising at all levels both internally and externally, supporting in all aspects of supplier approval, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

• * Supplier engagement and relationship management
• * Assess Technical Projects, Raw Materials process and devise robust procedures
• * Ensuring high standards of compliance and food safety is delivered
• * Review of complaints and working closely with suppliers
• * Analysing trend results, quality non conformances, and effective management of raw materials
• * Collaborating with stakeholders such as NPD process' and trails and co parties
• * KPI reporting and data management
• * Deputising for the Technical Manager

Skills and Qualifications

• Ideally a third level qualification in a food related subject
• At least 3 years working within a busy Technical Team
• Good communication and organisational skills liaising with suppliers, customers and third party teams
• Excellent BRC and HACCP knowledge
• Retailer exposure and advantage
