Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) underpins everything we do in our business at Anglian Water. As well as maintaining our systems and 'keeping the lights on', we gather business intelligence, deliver complex system upgrades, provide innovative contact centre and mobile technology, design, build, and maintain new systems for future digital technology to enable Anglian Water to continue to deliver a high quality service to its customers.

Supplier relationships and performance are critical to our success and we want to deliver increased value from them and ensure they contribute to delivering an excellent experience to our customers and colleagues.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Relationship Manager to join our DDat team. Working at the intersection of technical Service Operations and Commercial Procurement, the Supplier Relationship & Performance Manager will act as the principle, day-to-day point of contact and escalation from a contractual delivery, performance and compliance perspective for our core technology providers.
The role demands a meticulous focus on stakeholder management, framework policy and contractual adherence, risk mitigation, and proactive collaboration to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our supplier frameworks ensuring alignment with and contribution to our strategic objectives now and in the future.
What you'll be doing:
Act as the designated Framework Manager for our core technology suppliers, ensuring effective oversight and alignment with organisational objectives
Ensure strict adherence to the requirements outlined in the Supplier and Framework Management Policy, guaranteeing compliance across all interactions
Act as the primary contact with our suppliers for contractual delivery, performance and compliance issues, overseeing the overall Supplier Relationships and serving as the point of escalation when necessary
Oversee and evaluate the fulfilment of contractual obligations by core suppliers to ensure seamless operations and adherence to agreements
Produce insights to the Head of Service Operations and SLT on core supplier performance & compliance against contractual obligations, and proactive identification of supplier issues and risks, including recommendations for improvements to contractual alignment and integration across core suppliers.

What does it take to be successful?
A strong track record of supplier management, including contract management and relationship management (preferably in IT)
Experience of operating Framework and Supplier Management policies & processes
Experience of developing and managing Supplier relationships
Experience of formally assessing Supplier compliance & performance
Experiencing of contract & framework renewals and replacement
Proven track record of maximising the value from suppliers through effective operational governance of contracts
Experience of managing commercial contracts, service level agreements & KPIs.
Experiencing of developing & measuring SLAs & aligning these to business outcomes
Experience of developing supplier strategies
